About SAYNO

In 1988 the Substance Abuse Youth Networking Organization (SAYNO) was founded as a 501(c)(3) organization to promote and coordinate collaborative activities to address the growing substance abuse problem in Montgomery, Alabama. SAYNO became a United Way agency in 1992 and has since evolved into a service provider focusing on education, awareness and prevention of substance abuse and related social ills that threaten youth and families in the greater Montgomery/ River Region area (Montgomery, Elmore, Autauga, Lowndes and Macon Counties.)

Mission

SAYNO's mission is to advocate a drug-free society, to promote a community-wide coalition, and to build grass-roots collaborative programs to address substance abuse and related social ills in the Montgomery area, particularly among youth.

About Us

SAYNO is certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health as a Substance Abuse Prevention Services provider.
