Red Ribbon Week

2008 Red Ribbon Week Kick-off Ceremonies

The Montgomery Red Ribbon Week Campaign is an annual event started in 1988.

It begins with a big rally and continues for a week in October.

The event serves four counties, over 30,000 people and promotes drug awareness and prevention for schools, churches, government, businesses, media, and providers.

The Red Ribbon Week Campaign includes distribution of campaign materials, scheduling speakers, presentations, contests, and media appearances.
